Trees Land Critters was founded on a simple idea: the trees, land, and animals around your home deserve care from someone who understands how they all fit together.

That someone is Kieran Hunt — owner, operator, and the person who'll actually show up to do the work. Kieran is an ISA Certified Arborist with more than a decade of professional experience in arboriculture, forestry, and land management. Over his career, he's led large-scale vegetation management operations across multiple states, consulted on urban and community forestry, and written and presented on ecological land stewardship nationwide. He holds a B.S. in Ecology, Evolution, and Natural Resources, and community and integrity are core values guiding his business.

At TLC Ned, we work with the landscape rather than against it. Living in the mountains means balancing our needs with the realities of the local land, flora, fauna, and water. We specialize in balancing risk and landowner goals with ecosystem function and health, and we are proud to help our community steward our fragile mountain resources sustainably.

Based in the Nederland area of unincorporated Boulder County, Trees Land Critters serves homeowners and landowners across the Front Range foothills and mountain communities: Nederland, Boulder city and county, and Gilpin and Jefferson counties. Mountain living comes with its own challenges: fire risk, tough soils, big wildlife, and short seasons. Trees Land Critters exists to help you meet them, with the hands-on expertise and personal attention a bigger outfit can't offer.
